Three years ago almost to this exact date I started my newsletter! Crazy huh? So much has happened since then: I produced, directed and stared in my first short film, I produced "Swingtime Canteen" Off Broadway, I've done several photo shoots, produced and sang in a handful of cabarets, and I booked a few jobs. There's also been a lot of rejection, heartbreak and jobs I didn't get. People often think rejection is the hardest part of this industry but I think it's endurance. Thank you so much for being apart of my adventures, the ups and the downs! Your e-mails bring me so much joy and encouragement. Seriously, thank you!
I'm very lucky to have a brother in the same industry! There are very few brother-sister duo's in Hollywood. We bounce ideas off each other, encourage each other, etc. He's crazy talented and one day we are going to do something together and it's going to be EPIC! Anyway, he's on the tail end of his campaign for the theater company he works for in LA to go from an "underground venue" to a "legit venue." Click here to support keeping the Arts in downtown LA. $5, $10, or $15 can make a big difference! Don't have the money, no worries, share it on social media! It would me a lot to me.
Some of you might not know I'm nerdy, like super nerdy. Besides all my acting classes one of my favorite classes in college was Philosophy in Science Fiction and Film! "Stranger Things" on Netflix is my newest obsession! Stop what you're doing and binge watch this show RIGHT NOW, you'll thank me later! If anyone knows anyone attached to or apart of this show I will work for FREE just to be on set for season two. #dreamjob
