This was my first time attending the Tribeca Film Festival and boy did I learn a lot! I thought everyone at Tribeca would be either super young or actors. Surprisingly directors, distributors, producers, writers and content creators were the majority of attendees not actors. #networking After spending two days at the festival I felt like my brain was going to explode!
I attended the Director Series talk with Jodie Foster and Julie Taymor. Jodie said she was tired of the "women in film" conversation, and there was a ton of it at Tribeca! But I thought Jodie's answer was cool, check it out here. If you're a female and you've ever thought of writing or directing NOW is the time! There is so much funding and opportunities for female writers and directors! #womancrusheveryday
"Holy Snapchat Batman!" sounds like something Robin would say in the old Batman & Robin series. I like to think I'm social media savvy; I have a decent following on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook (not following? Click below!) I thought I didn't need Snapchat. I was wrong! If you don't have snapchat get on that because apparently Snapchat is where it's at. If you're a producer/filmmaker/writer trying to promote your project you need to be snapping that! Next week I'll be in LA LA Land to see my brother's feature film debut in "I Was a Teenage Wereskunk!" If you're in LA May 3rd come to the premier with me!
